About Reed'Em & Weave
Since 1991, I’ve had a deep passion for basket weaving. I began teaching classes in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a way to share my love for the craft. Due to my career, I was given the opportunity to travel across the country to various states, such as Texas, Colorado, and California, where I continued to use different media and gained additional knowledge of the art of basketry.
After calling California home for 15 years, I moved to southern Oregon, right along the beautiful Sprague River. My love of everything baskets over the past 30 years introduced me to some of the most amazing teachers and students that share the same passion. Throughout those years I always had a dream to open up a shop of my own, where I could not only teach virtually and directly, but to also sell high-grade supplies to my students and anyone else who shares our vision – and I’m finally turning that dream into reality!My mission has always been to try and teach each and every person the beautiful art of basketry, and to share my love and knowledge of the craft itself. We have moved our journey to Warsaw, Missouri. It was time for this Midwest girl to go home.
